My name is Pia Samantha Roldan, I was born in southern part of Philippines Mindonao.  I’m 23 years old and I’m your Miss WorldClass Philippines 2018.  I spend my childhood years in Dorchester, England.  Those times were fascinating and full of adventures.  English culture challenged me to become spontaneous, elegant and eloquent person.  While I lived there I felt belonging and love from my friends.  I hope to reunite with them one day.
My father is a Police General of the Philippines  He’s a gentleman and he has a conservative side to him.  It was difficult for me to adjust to his job image because I was expected to be secure, proper and firm at all times.
My mom is a former Beauty Queens and she’s very proud of her former title and her crown.  She realized that I would be her legacy, and I would continue the tradition of being a Beauty Queen.
My professional job is to modernize Philippines National Police Force and equip our police officers with most modern equipment to keep our nation safe.  On daily basis I attend governmental and non-governmental business meetings with Mayors and other prominent governmental figures.

World Class Beauty Queens: How does it feel to be first Miss WorldClass?

INCREDIBLE!  World Class Beauty Queens Magazine is such a prestigious international publication with amazing mission statement to Empower, Educate and Inspire women around the world.  Being selected as Miss WorldClass with a title of Miss WorldClass Philipines 2018 is such an honor.  I will be able to represent my country and make my family proud.

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your first involvement with World Class Beauty Queens Magazine was as a Cover Girl.

I still can’t believe that I was chosen to be featured on the cover of World Class Beauty Queens Magazine.  I was the very first Filipina Beauty Queen to be featured on the Cover.  Filipinos are very passionate about pageants so this honor made me feel special.
My first cover is the top of the hill of my life, I could almost reach the gate of success.
Most important I was able to share my story in the magazine which awoke a new passion and drive in me to become better than even.

World Class Beauty Queens: Soon after being featured on the Cover you were invited to be 1st World Class Beauty Queens Ambassador.
This was such a unexpected news, I was overwhelmed.  But at the same time I was so happy to represent my country as World Class Beauty Queens Philippines Ambassador.
I’m so happy that Derek saw something in me I didn’t see at that time.

World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to become Miss WorldClass Philippines?

What inspired me to become Miss World Class Philippines was my mentor and Director Derek Tokarzewski.  He inspires me to dream bigger.  With that title I’ll be able to shine brighter and inspire more people especially at my home town Tacurong city located at Mindanao.  This proves that Tacurong people are loved by grace of anointing one another and passion of progression to the city.  It’s not how the city looks like , it’s how the people show harmony of goodness to the people. So me as a Tacurnongnon I embrace my hometown with such much love.

World Class Beauty Queens:  To those unfamiliar with Miss WorldClass please tell us what is it about?
Miss WorldClass system was established in Chicago January 2017 by Derek Tokarzewski Owner and Editor in Chief of World Class Beauty Queens Magazine.

Miss WorldClass and World Class Beauty Queens Magazine was created to Empower, Educate and Inspire Women around the World.  Derek Tokarzewski wants to remind every body that it’s ok to dream big and reach for the stars.  His saying is.  If you knew beyond the shadow of doubt that you would not fail.  How big would you dream.  This is very powerful message for all of us.

World Class Beauty Queens: What appearances have you done as World Class Beauty Queens Philippines Ambassador?
Missology party 2017 as a guest

Mutya ng Norala 2017 as a judge
Lin’ay sang Pontavedra 2017
Miss and Mister SKSU 2017

World Class Beauty Queens:  Tell us about your first appearance as World Class Beauty Queens Philippines Ambassador.
My first appearance as an Ambassador was International Missosology party here in Manila during Miss Universe Competition.  The guests there were flattered that my name is the same name as Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzatbach.  I met a lot of pageant directors, journalist, beauty queens, supermodels and famous designers.  I was flattered by all the invitations to compete in the upcoming pageants.  During all the introductions of the beauty queen, misters and supermodels, they called me up to the stage to introduce myself.  It was very exciting to introduce myself as World Class Beauty Queens Magazine Ambassador to all those prominent guests.  After the introduction people were so courteous and obliged for me to join in their tables, have conversation, exchange phone numbers and exchange social media contacts.  To be completely honest I was little bit nervous.  This was my first appearance and I wanted to make my director Derek Tokarzewski proud.

World Class Beauty Queens:  Tell us about your appearance as a celebrity judge during Mutya ng Norala 2017 pageant competition.
The province of Norala invited me to be the celebrity guest judge during Mutya ng Norala 2017 pageant competition.  Noralians are such a amazing and kind people, I was given royal treatment by them.  Me and my makeup artist Charles were flown from Manila, the event was held for three days.  During that time I was able to do video interviews with the contestants for World Class Beauty Queens Magazine.  This was actually the first time I was able to work with amazing Filipino Film Director Raphael Tabuzo Aguirre.  I was also able to participate in photoshoots during the event.  At the end I had a great time judging the contestants.  But my most cherished memory was of all the young girls during the event, they couldn’t get enough of my dear personality during meet and greet.  This moment really inspired me to continue shine brighter and make an impact in other people’s lives.

World Class Beauty Queens: What is Miss WorldClass platform?
Miss WorldClass platform is Women Empowerment.  The motto is Empower, Educate, Inspire.  The system is focused on building self-esteem and courage to accomplish all your dreams.  The system also supports International Foundation For Orphans a charity that’s been helping Haiti and it’s expanding now to different countries.

My personal cause that is close to my heart is advocating for deaf children.  Even though government is providing suitable jobs for the deaf adults it doesn’t mean it will just end there.  I do believe that children are gifts and they have great ambitions and dreams.  So I want to support them with their goals and dreams.  Some children lack in faith, sometimes all they need is someone who believes in them.  I want to be that inspiration for them, and teach them how to fight for their dreams.
Also my mission to them will be the seven corporal works of mercy ; visit the sick, to shelter the homeless , to feed the hungry,to clothe the naked, to visit the imprisoned or ransom the captive, to give water the to thirsty and bury the dead.

World Class Beauty Queens: You just finished your Cover photoshoot with amazing World Class Filipino photographer Jdee Landero.  Tell us about your experience?
The photoshoot was such an amazing experience.  Not everyday you are asked to model for international magazine.  This was a big production, we had stylist, photographer, video crew, my hair and makeup artist Charles Steven Smith and other assistants.  I was flown from Manila to General Santos in Mindonao where the photoshoot took place.  I was nervous but I noticed one of the crew members was in his formal attire during the shoot.  Funny feeling but it help me to get energized for the shoot.  What made me happy was that my mom was able to attend the photo shoot.  It made me feel like I’m transforming from her little princess into a Queen.

Jdee Landero is such a professional photographer, he wants the shoot to be perfect.  He’s great with guiding you on your poses and angles.  I am so thankful to all the crew of Sir Raphael and Sir Jdee Landero that worked with me that day.

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about the designer dress you are wearing on the cover.
Kenny Ladaga Couture is famous designer in Mindanao which is southern part of the Philippines.  I saw one his designs on the runway of MODA, Mindanao at Davao City.  One of my friends modeled for him so it inspired me to reach out and connect.  The dress on the Cover had to be flown from Canada because it was part of exhibition.  The sleeves are of traditional Filipino design.  The dress is beautiful and made me feel beautiful as well.

World Class Beauty Queens: We had our World Class Movie Stars Philippines Ambassador Raphael shoot documentary about your photoshoot.  Are you excited to see it?
I’m beyond excited!  This will be my another gold accomplishments. Everyday I’m thanking God for this opportunity!

World Class Beauty Queens:  Tell us about your sash designed by Czardy Regala Hamto.
The sash is so regal, you can see the perseverance of the beauty in the sash.  I love how the sash is bedazzled in stones, very eye catching.

World Class Beauty Queens: Any upcoming photoshoot?
Actually my first major fashion photoshoot will be with Paris Fashion Week winner Anjana Misra.  Amazing designer from India, she is actually making a custom dress specifically for this photoshoot.  Anjana Misra is actually World Class Designers Magazine Ambassador, so I can’t wait to model for her.

This photoshoot will be featured on the cover of World Class Designers Magazine which showcases fashion from NYFW, LAFW, Milan Fashion Week, Dubai Fashion Week and other major international events.

After that I have a scheduled photoshoot for the cover of World Class Models Magazine and cover for upcoming World Class Filipino Fashion Magazine.  This will be an Avant Garde photoshoot, I’m not going to say who the designer is yet, it’s a secret.

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about upcoming video commercial for World Class Beauty Queens Magazine.
This is so exciting!  I will be working again with World Class Movie Stars Philippines Ambassador Raphael.  He is so talented, you should see his film work with pageants, it’s amazing.  I don’t want to spoil the surprise but it’s going to be fun project we will be filming here in the Philippines under World Class Film Studios.  This will be my first acting experience, I can’t wait to be part of it.

World Class Beauty Queens: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls?
My dreamy smile.

World Class Beauty Queens: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen?
Being a Beauty Queen means you are ready to open up your heart to others.  Let the crown and sash be your inspiration and symbol of hope.  So take charge of the power you were given with faith and confidence, and make a difference.

World Class Beauty Queens: How did competing in pageants helped your life?

Competing in pageants helped me to realize the person I want to become.  Competing brought bravery and excitement into my life.  In the past especially during my teen years when I had dark clouds in my life.  And now I’m a diamond that shines bright for the people.

World Class Beauty Queens: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there.  How does it feel?
I feel humble to be able to inspire all the young children I’ve meet as World Class Ambassador.  And now as Miss WorldClass Philippines 2018 I hope to inspire even more children in the Philippines.  I will entertain the children with my confidence and my wit.  All children need good rolemodel in their life, so I will share my heart and soul with them.  Let’s hope I can inspire them to dream bigger.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your plans for 2018 as a Queen?
Right now my main focus is my job, it’s a big responsibility that will help the whole nation.  In my free time I want to focus on volunteering.  On the glam side there are some fashion photoshoots scheduled and more covers to appear on.  Let’s see what life will bless me with.
I’m also planning to join national pageant, but I cannot mention which one yet.

World Class Beauty Queens:  What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?
The legacy I will leave behind is of a great Queen with kind and courageous heart.  I want people to know me as the dearest and most nurturing person they ever met, steward to the people.
